Our last day in Sydney...we had booked an Opera House tour for the morning and then plans to go to Bondi beach.

Our tour was for 10am, for an hour. We walked from our apartment to the Opera House and then walked through the underpass to the welcome center in the basement level. You have to get your actual tickets from the ticket window (if you booked online - and it is highly recommended you do).
They pass out the audio headsets and you are off. The theaters are just amazing. The seating is timber and the walls are made from birch. The organ in the main theatre goes back several feet and needs a person dedicated to it's care. The tour is very nice and kids enjoyed as well. Taking pictures is not allowed in the theaters.

From there, we caught the train from Circular Quay to Bondi Junction and then took the bus to Bondi beach. Very trendy neighborhood. It's about a 10 min ride from the station to the beach.

You can swim in the ocean between the flags planted on the beach. Other than that area, it's not safe due to rip tides. The water on the colder side, but still kids enjoyed. From there we started walking on the trail to Bronte beach. It's scenic walking trail made by the coast and very peaceful and easy walk. It's about 1 1/2 mile from Bondi to Bronte beach. From there, we took the bus back to Bondi junction and then back home. Ready for our flight the next day to Cairns.
