Day 4: Tower Bridge, London

This time, we got to see the Tower Bridge opening up to let a ship pass through and we are glad we were there at the time it opened up.

We started off by taking the tube to the Tower Hill stop and walking past the Tower of London to the Tower Bridge. We walked the Bridge and reached the gift shop where they sell tickets to go up the tower and walk on the glass floor on the second floor walkway between the two towers.
The ticket also includes a visit to the Engine room and the museum.

There were lots of pictures of famous bridges from around the world which was interesting to read about.

Then we walked off the bridge towards the Mayor's office building to view the opening and closing of the bridge.

After the bridge was closed again,  we walked back across the bridge towards the Tower of London side and had these yummy red pepper chicken pizzas at one of the food tents outside the Guoman Hotel, the booths are part of the hotel. Even though it was raining, we were nice and dry under the tree next to the food tent.
There are good photo ops, from the Tower of London side, as well as from the Mayor's office side.
